It is called “Dengaku” when you stick tofu on bamboo skewers and put miso on fire. Aizu Miso Dengaku features miso dengaku, which is flavored with red miso, mixed with sugar and various condiments. It is a rustic nostalgic country dish with a reputation that you can eat as much as you like when you bake it on charcoal fire in the hearth.
