About Chicken rice (Keihan)

Keihan is a local dish made in the Amami archipelago in Kagoshima Prefecture, and is close to dashi chazuke.
Chicken rice is served with a variety of ingredients such as steamed chicken, shiitake mushrooms, kinshi eggs, green onions, pickles of papaya, and so on, on top of the rice, and hot chicken broth.
It is a dish unique to a tropical island that has a light taste, and you can eat it even when you don't have appetite in the summer heat.
