Chiya Beef
Known for its perfect balance of marbling and lean meat
About Chiya Beef
Chiya Beef (千屋牛, Chiya gyu) is a breed of Japanese Black cattle that traces its lineage to the oldest "tsuru-ushi" (vine cattle) in Japan, originating in Niimi City. Renowned as the ancestor of many Wagyu brands across the country, it is regarded as one of the finest beef varieties. Raised in the pristine natural environment of the Chugoku Mountains, this premium beef has been carefully bred and perfected while preserving the history and traditions that date back to the Edo period.
What sets Chiya Beef apart is its ideal balance of marbling and lean meat, delivering extraordinary flavor and tenderness. Packed with high-quality amino acids and unsaturated fatty acids, it offers a melt-in-your-mouth texture and rich aroma that highlights the essence of authentic Wagyu.
