About Shumai Bento (Shumai lunch box)
The story goes that this bento was devised when Yokohama had few local specialties, taking inspiration from the shumai sold in Yokohama Chinatown. It is now a classic Yokohama ekiben (train station bento). People often say the shumai in the bento taste good even when cold, but personally, I think they taste even better cold (just my opinion).
