Kurumafu
Try it as a meat substitute! A lighter, healthier option
About Kurumafu
Kurumafu (車麩, Kurumafu), a traditional comfort food from Niigata, has been loved as a "taste of home" for generations. Made from wheat flour and free from any additives, it is easy to digest and perfect for everyone—from babies needing soft foods to the elderly seeking gentle meals.
In addition to its classic round shape, you can find other unique varieties, like decorative manjufu, colorful and beautiful araremfu, and rich, smooth flavors in fried fu. Kurumafu’s versatility and nutritious qualities make it a delightful ingredient for many dishes.
