Oishiyaki
A beloved senbei from Yunoyama Onsen, cherished by tourists and locals alike
About Oishiyaki
Oishiyaki (大石焼, Oishiyaki) is a traditional senbei rice cracker made by kneading ingredients with hot spring water and baking it to a firm texture. Its simple, rustic flavor is truly nostalgic.
Handcrafted since before the Meiji era, each cracker measures about 15 cm in diameter and is said to have been a portable food for ninjas. You can find Oishiyaki at "Oishiyaki Kirakudo," located at the base of the Gozaisho Ropeway. When ordering, you can choose between a hard and a softer version to suit your preference.
