About Shippoku
While Sanuki Udon (讃岐うどん, Sanuki udon) is incredibly famous, there was once a concern that eating udon with just soy sauce-based broth might not provide enough nutrition.
To address this, a warming dish was created by adding a variety of household vegetables, making it nutritious and cost-effective. Especially enjoyed during the winter, Shippoku (しっぽく) is the perfect way to warm yourself up while savoring a balanced and hearty meal.
