About Tsukemono steak

Tsukemono steak is a local dish from the Hida region of Gifu prefecture. The normal way to eat tsukemono is often to eat it as it is, but in Hida Takayama, Gifu prefecture, the tsukemono is grilled and eaten.
It is also said that the beginning was stir-fried and eaten to melt frozen tsukemono or to eat tart tsukemono deliciously.
“Tsukemono steak,” in which stir-fried tsukemono is bound with an egg and sprinkled with dried bonito flakes or green onions, etc., increases the aroma and sweetness, and the meal progresses.
It has now become a specialty and is popular among tourists visiting Hida.
