Kogyoku Apple Pie
A perfect pairing with tea: Kogyoku Apple Pie
About Kogyoku Apple Pie
Kogyoku Apple Pie (紅玉りんごのアップルパイ) greets you with the fresh aroma of apples as soon as you cut into it. With each bite, you’ll enjoy the flaky, crispy pastry along with the refreshing tartness and rich sweetness of Kogyoku apples.
The pie crust is made using wheat harvested from Ogata Village, a major grain-producing area in Akita Prefecture. The apples used are rare, premium Kogyoku apples grown by young farmers in Yokote City, Akita Prefecture. Instead of white sugar, this pie is sweetened with beet sugar, which is rich in minerals and gentle on the body, making it a thoughtfully crafted treat.
