Cherries in Sanseki introduction

The Miseki district of Yuzawa City is known as a cherry producing area, and is a fertile land with temperature differences. An alluvial fan has developed under the fault cliff, creating a very good environment for agricultural products. Cherries grown using an alluvial fan sandwiched between Mt. Higashi Chokai and the Omono River in the Ou Mountains are characterized by strong sweetness and bright red fruit. The harvest season is from early June to early July.
