About Akakara Hot Pot
Akakara Hot Pot (赤から鍋, Akakara nabe) is a beloved specialty from Nagoya. It features a flavorful broth made with a unique blend of red miso and chili peppers, paired with plenty of hearty ingredients simmered to perfection.
You can customize the spiciness to suit your taste. The classic ingredients include nine staples: pork belly, chicken meatballs, beef offal, tofu, fried tofu, green onions, Chinese cabbage, bean sprouts, and garlic chives.
