Hakata Wagyu
Premium "Hakata Wagyu" raised on high-quality feed
About Hakata Wagyu
Hakata Wagyu (博多和牛, Hakata wagyu) is a prized Japanese beef raised by certified farmers primarily in Kyushu. These farmers carefully nurture their cattle for approximately 20 months after acquiring them from calf producers in the region. The mainstay of their diet is straw from Fukuoka Prefecture, a region known for its rice production. This is supplemented with a specially formulated feed blend of corn, barley, wheat bran, soybeans, and more.
The secret to the incredible taste of Hakata Wagyu lies in the abundant use of fresh, locally-grown straw from Fukuoka. Renowned for its tenderness, each bite of Hakata Wagyu releases a burst of rich, savory juices that fill your mouth with its deep, irresistible flavor. It's truly a delicacy that's celebrated for its unparalleled taste.
