About Chinsuko
Chinsuko (ちんすこう) is a baked confectionery made primarily from flour, lard, and sugar.
Originally a luxurious treat enjoyed by the royal court during the Ryukyu Kingdom era, it has since become a beloved specialty of Okinawa. Today, Chinsuko is a popular souvenir, often sold in individually wrapped packages at gift shops across the region.
