Oda Tofu
Delicious tofu with over 150 years of history
About Oda Tofu
Oda Tofu (織田豆腐, Oda tōfu) is a beloved and traditional tofu originating from the former Oda Town in Fukui Prefecture, now part of Echizen Town. It is a staple in Fukui's local cuisine.
In the past, there were three types of Oda Tofu, but today, only this "Ota Tofu" remains.
Oda Tofu is made using 100% domestically grown soybeans. Specifically, it uses "Enrei" soybeans from the Hokuriku region, combined with the pristine underground water of the Oda area. This tofu is renowned for its natural, delicate flavor and creamy, silky texture.
