Narita's Unagi Cuisine
When you think of Narita, you think of unagi. Savor the exquisite taste of eel!

About Narita's Unagi Cuisine
Narita's Omotesando Street, near the historic Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, is a rare "eel town" with a high concentration of unagi specialty restaurants.
Many of these establishments are long-standing, passing down their secret sauces through generations. Here, unagi (grilled eel) is expertly prepared over charcoal, resulting in tender, flavorful bites enhanced by each shop's unique sauce.
Historically, the Narita region enjoyed river fish dishes from nearby Lake Inba. Among them, nutrient-rich unagi became a cherished part of the local food culture.
