Henba mochi introduction

Henba-mochi is a mochi confectionary manufactured and sold by the long-established Japanese confectionary store “Henbaya Shoten” in Ise City, Mie Prefecture. The round, flat mochi made with rice flour has a unique texture, and the mochi that is browned on both sides is savory, and the mellow sweetness of koshian that melts easily in the mouth spreads. It is reported that henba mochi originated when it was eaten near the place where this horse returns = henbajo (henbajo), and came to be called henba (henba) mochi. It is a slightly unusual mochi confectionary whose history at that time became the product name as it was.
