Bokke nabe

“Kirishima Mythology Bokke Nabe”
Kagoshima

Bokke nabe introduction

When you say “bokke” in Kagoshima prefecture, it means “bold and exciting,” and it is reminiscent of Saigo Takamori and others. In addition, Kirishima is famous as the “land of Tenson Korin”, and “myth” is included in the name as a hot pot representing the region. It is a new specialty hot pot with plenty of locally caught seasonal vegetables using Kirishima-aged black pork and Kirishima-aged white pork, centering on the nationally famous “Kirishima aged mythical pork”. Local chefs spent a year making “pork miso flavor” with umami and richness, “soy milk flavor” with a mellow taste, and a light “soy sauce flavor” with an elegant depth and fragrant broth. That's it.
