About Kumano beef

Kumano beef is said to be the root of Kumano beef from Kyoto during the Heian period. After that, it was kept in the Kumano region in the southern part of the prefecture as a farming cow.
In order to make it a beef beef, the breed was improved by incorporating the pedigree of Tajima beef, and it was branded as a premium Japanese beef “Kumano Beef”.
Fine, soft, savory to taste, excellent for the rich flavor of the meat itself.
