Momotaro Grapes
Known for their crisp, popping skin and refreshing sweetness
About Momotaro Grapes
Okayama, often called the "Sunshine Prefecture," is renowned as "the kingdom of fruits" due to its ideal climate and geography.
While Okayama is famous for grapes like "Muscat of Alexandria" and "Pione," a newer variety called Momotaro Grapes (桃太郎ぶどう, Momotaro budou) has been gaining popularity in recent years.
These large, peach-shaped grapes are seedless and have thin, delicate skin, making them easy to eat whole. When you bite into the crisp skin, it bursts open, releasing a flood of juicy flavor in your mouth. The firm flesh offers an exquisite balance of the skin's slight tartness and the fruit's natural sweetness, delivering a brand-new texture and taste experience unlike any other.
