Mikuni Burger
A gourmet burger crafted with the finest local ingredients from Fukui
About Mikuni Burger
The Mikuni Burger (三国バーガー, Mikuni Burger) is a carefully created hamburger made using premium local ingredients from Fukui Prefecture.
This delicious burger features a juicy patty made with minced beef from Fukui and blocks of Japanese pork, Mikuni’s specialty aged pickled shallots, an abundance of fresh vegetables, and a unique rice bun cooked with locally grown rice. It was born from the concept of creating "a new brand of food that highlights local ingredients and is loved by everyone."
You can find this popular treat at "Mikuniminatoza," a beloved spot located in Kitahonmachi, Mikuni Town, which once flourished as a port of call for the Kitamaebune trade ships. Here, you can enjoy freshly prepared, mouthwatering Mikuni Burgers. Keep in mind that these burgers are made to order, so the preparation takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
