Miyazaki

Uiro introduction

It is said that around 1877 (Meiji 10), Suzuki Sato (1849-1922), who ran a ryokan in Oriusako in the same city, began selling it to people visiting Qingdao. Made from shaku rice (non-glutinous rice) as the main ingredient, caster sugar and brown sugar are added, and steamed, it is the taste of Miyazaki, the country of Hyuga, which is full of simplicity. It does not use any additives, etc., and is treated with vacuum heat sterilization.. It is today as a representative confectionery of Miyazaki, a nostalgic hometown.
