Kumamoto ramen introduction
This ramen was propagated from Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, the birthplace of Tonkotsu ramen, through Tamana City, Kumamoto Prefecture, to Kumamoto City and surrounding areas. Compared to Tamana ramen and Hakata ramen (Nagahama ramen), thick noodles are used, and chicken is added to the soup. This ramen is characterized by a mild tonkotsu soup with chicken and added flavor, but there are shops that make soup only with pork bones, so you can enjoy various flavors depending on the shop.
