Tamana Ramen
The origin of Kumamoto-style ramen, "Tamana Ramen"

About Tamana Ramen
Tamana Ramen (玉名ラーメン, Tamana ramen) hails from Tamana City, located in northern Kumamoto Prefecture with stunning views of the Ariake Sea. While the city is renowned as a historic hot spring destination, it is also famous as the birthplace of Kumamoto-style ramen.
This flavorful dish features a rich tonkotsu (pork bone) broth inspired by Kurume ramen, combined with medium-thin noodles, tender and savory chashu pork, and the distinctive aroma of roasted garlic—a truly unbeatable combination.
