About Muroran Yakitori
Muroran Yakitori (室蘭やきとり, Muroran yakitori) is a unique style of yakitori originating from Muroran City in Hokkaido.
Despite its name, this dish does not use chicken. Instead, it features skewers of pork and onion pieces alternately threaded onto sticks. The skewers are grilled to perfection and enjoyed with a flavorful sweet sauce and a touch of Western-style mustard for an added kick.
