Misaki bowl
The lighthouse, the gift of the sea, and the ultimate kaisendon for you.Misaki bowl introduction
“Misakidon” is a popular kaisendon in Hinomisaki, where the tallest stone lighthouse in Japan is located. Fresh seafood caught locally is luxuriously served and seasoned with a secret soy sauce sauce that each store is particular about. We especially recommend the “kajimedon,” a type of seaweed characterized by the thickness of “kajime,” a type of seaweed, and the “Nihonkai don,” a kaisen-don made by soaking seasonal fish in a special soy sauce sauce and sprinkling grated yams on it. It is offered at 5 stores, and each creates a different flavor. “Misakidon,” which uses plenty of fresh seafood, is a dish that can only be enjoyed in Hinomisaki.
