Akita's local confectionery “morokoshi”
Akita

Raw corn introduction

“Morokoshi” is a confectionery that has been eaten in Akita prefecture for a long time, and is made by stamping azuki bean flour into a mold and grilled. This non-grilled “raw corn” is a product created by Morokoshian in Kakunodate, Semboku City. I finished the hard, chewy corn with a soft texture. The main ingredient is a blend of azuki beans from Akita prefecture with ginjo azuki beans from Hokkaido, which is famous as a place where high-quality crops grow due to the large difference in temperature between day and night.
