Aigake Jindai Curry
“Old-fashioned curry” and “modern-style curry”Aigake Jindai Curry introduction
The Jindai district in Semboku City, Akita Prefecture, is a rice cultivation area where organic rice Akitakomachi production is thriving. The delicious rice produced here meets curry made with old-fashioned manufacturing methods, and “Aigake Jindai Curry” was born. It is characterized by a combination of “old-fashioned curry roux,” which revives the nostalgic taste of home, and “European-style curry roux” based on demiglace sauce, which is made by stir-frying flour and curry powder. The topping is topped with a hot spring egg, and it is served with “Iburi gakko,” an Akita specialty pickle made from smoked daikon.
