Shinjo Himekko zoni introduction

It is a soy sauce-based zoni that uses himenomochi, a quality certified rice (fine rice) produced in Shinjo Village. It has the same triple beat of fineness, strength of strain, and sweetness. It stretches surprisingly, and has an elegant taste that matches soy sauce. Shinjo Village, where the warm summer days and nights are intense, has the most suitable climate for producing delicious glutinous rice. Hime mochi made using this sticky rice is white, rich in texture, and is characterized by its strong stickiness and sweetness. Since himenomochi matches soy sauce-based zoni with shellfish and spinach very well, it is now sold at roadside stations and restaurants in the village.
